Electric Bike Charger for Swagtron EB5 Lithium Battery

The 42V 2A battery charger is designed for a wide range of AC input voltages, from 100-240V and 50/60Hz. The output of the charger is 42V 2A, making it suitable for lithium-ion batteries.

The device features an indication light that displays the charging status. When the light is green, it indicates the battery is fully charged, and when the light is red, it indicates the battery is charging.

The operating temperature range of the charger is -10°C to 50°C, with a relative humidity range of 20% to 90%. The storage temperature range is -10°C to 60°C, with the same relative humidity range.

The package includes the 42V 2A 10S battery charger and a power cord. The charger is designed for use with lithium-ion batteries, and it is not recommended to use it with LiFePO4 batteries, as it may cause the charger to overheat.

Here are some important usage instructions for the charger:

1. Please charge the battery in a dry environment.
2. Do not always keep the power supply connected when the charger is not in use.
3. Do not overcharge the battery. When the light turns green, please remove the charger.
4. Charge the battery before it is fully drained to 0%. Otherwise, the battery may not be protected or even get damaged.
5. If the battery has not been used for a long time (2-3 months), charge it before use. Ensure the battery is not damaged.
6. Maintain a long-term shallow discharge cycle, with a deep discharge every 3 months. This "re-lighting" process helps activate the long-term immobile material in the battery.
7. Confirm the battery type before use, as the charger is designed specifically for lithium-ion batteries. Do not use it with LiFePO4 batteries, as it may cause the charger to overheat.
8. When charging, connect the battery to the charger cable first, then connect the charger to the AC power. After the battery is fully charged, disconnect the power, then the battery plug. Disconnecting the battery plug during charging, especially when the current is high (indicated by a red LED), may damage the device.

The charger features global AC input voltage compatibility, high efficiency, soft starting current, and reduced impact on the AC input. It is compact in size and lightweight. The cable length is 39.4 inches (100 cm), and the charger has a maximum operating temperature of 40°C.

The charger case is made of high-quality plastic with a smooth appearance and no impurities. The charger has two types of connectors: DC5.5 x 2.1mm and DC5.5 x 2.5mm.

During operation, the LED indicator turns red, and the charger may get slightly warm. You can place two small blocks under the charger for better heat dissipation.

The charger automatically detects when the battery is fully charged, provided the battery has a Battery Management System (BMS) installed, and then switches off.

This charger is compatible with various Swagtron e-bikes, such as the EB7 Hyper, E-City 700c, and EB5, as well as Meepo skateboards.
